AirAsia Cancellation Policy:

If you have booked an AirAsia flight ticket to/from the United States and you raised the cancellation within 24 hours of the flight departure. Then, you would be permitted a full refund. 

If someone is going to South Korea, you will get the refund under the below structure:

• Passengers will get permission for a full refund if the flight is canceled at least 90 days or 3 months before the departure of the flight time.
• Get a 90 percent refund if the flight cancels between 2 months to 3 months before departure of the flight time.
• Get an 80 percent refund I the flight cancels between 1 month and 2 months before departure of the flight time.
• Get a 70 percent refund if the refund request is raised between 3 hours and within 1 month from the departure of the flight time.
• If your journey is for domestic travel or within India you will get the relaxation where you need to cancel your flight ticket 2 hours before the departure of the flight time and get the below-given structure refund.:
• For Economy and Vista Flex, ticket holders will get INR 3500 but, the flight must be canceled at least 86 hours before departure of the flight time.
• If the flight is canceled at least 72 hours before the departure then, the passenger will get the chance to collect a 75 percent refund.
• If the flight cancellation request is raised to 4 hours before the departure of the flight time then, get only a 10 percent refund and 10 percent future travel credit and get the complete value of the taxes.

AirAsia Cancellation Fee:

The cancellation charges will cover all the international as well as domestic routes but, it would be completely dynamic such as:

If someone is holding a flight ticket for Malaysia:

For Domestic: 106 MYR per person.

For International: 100 MYR per Person.

• If someone is holding a flight ticket for domestic travel or India:
• Get around 3500 Rupees cancellation fees if the flight ticket cancels between 0 to 3 days from the departure of the flight time.
• In case, a passenger cancels their Airasia flight ticket 4 days or before then, pay around 3000 Rupees per person.
• If someone is holding a flight ticket for Japan:

Pay around 3700 JPY.

If anyone has a domestic flight ticket to Thailand and Indonesia.

Pay around 242,000 IDR cancellation fee for Indonesia and 1100 THB cancellation fee for Thailand.

The mentioned AirAsia cancellation fee is only applicable if the flight ticket has been canceled within a specific time frame.

AirAsia Refund Policy:

• Refund rules will be based on the situation/conditions of the cancellation.
• The refund, fees, and cancellation charges will apply to the airline company.
• AirAsia also offers the refund directly to the future credit travel points with additional benefits that will only be used for future flight ticket booking. 
• If any traveler cancels their flight through any third party then, the airlines will not be responsible for the refund and directly connect to the third party and insist on a refund.
